From Start to End: Garment Creation Guide

Welcome to the step-by-step guide for creating a garment using our Digital Product Passport platform. This guide will walk you through every stage, from setting up your collection to managing waste, ensuring you have a complete digital record for each product.


Create Collection

Create Collection Step 2 Step 1: Start by creating a new collection. Collections help you organize garments by theme, season, or campaign.
Step 2: Fill in collection details such as name, description, and target market. Review and confirm your collection setup.

Create Season

Create Season Step 2 Step 1: Define the season for your collection (e.g., Spring/Summer 2024).
Step 2: Link the season to your collection to keep launches organized by time period.

Add Model

Add Model Step 2 Step 1: Add a new model (garment design) to your collection. Enter model details such as name, reference, and initial sketches.
Step 2: Attach technical drawings or additional information to complete the model profile.

Redirect Model

Redirect Model If needed, redirect or update the model to another collection or season. This helps manage changes in design or planning efficiently.

Add Version Details

Add Version Details Specify version details for your model, such as fabric choices, colorways, or fit adjustments. This ensures every iteration is tracked.

Add Bill of Materials (BOM)

Add BOM Step 2 Step 1: List all materials and components required for the garment, including fabrics, trims, and accessories.
Step 2: Add each material with quantity and supplier, then review and confirm the BOM.

Add Consumption Data

Consumption Step 2 At this stage, the Katty Fashion team will create the layplan and upload it once it’s ready. You’ll be notified as soon as it’s available, and you’ll be able to view the material efficiency.

3D Visualization

3D Visualization Step 2 The Katty Fashion team will develop the 3D model and you will be notified when it is uploaded. In order to annotate:
